It’s an Etsy Valentine!
I was fortunate enough to be contacted by The Frosted Petticoat Blog to participate in their dreamy Valentine’s Day photo shoot this year. Sam at The Frosted Petticoat found me through my Etsy shop and asked if I would like to contribute my Vintage Gold and Aqua cake stand to her article. My answer? ABSOLUTELY! If you aren’t familiar with them, The Frosted Petticoat “breaks the boundaries of chocolate making with uniquely designed hand-painted candies. Since the shop’s launch in October of 2011, the sugary sweets have won acclaim from Weddings Unveiled Magazine, Quiltmaker Magazine, the U.K.’s Weddings Magazine, and The Perfect Palette… just to name a few!” She has also been featured in Real Simple Magazine and on Style Me Pretty. Needless to say, I was honored that Sam reached out to me and very excited to have my cake stand included along with some other amazing Etsy artists in her Valentine’s Day feature. I love that I can be a part of this Etsy Valentine!
The blog feature was posted in two parts, and my cake stand was included in the Romance Tent scene in “Part Deux.” Here’s an excerpt from the blog and some of the photos of my 3 tier cake stand in action: “Welcome to Part Deux of our Valentine’s Day feature! We’re showing you ways to recycle your wedding heirlooms and create a fantastic fete for Cupid’s holiday. We covered the glamming-up session and champagne welcome table in Part Uno, so now it’s time to move onto dessert and a little romance…”
